THE BALLAD OF JEAN ARTHUR THE GAUL
Desolate, the eye complains about the nightAnd an Assyrian dog sniffs it out in the throat
Even though they thought me crazy before
On account of my evening custom of smoking jades
The Loyolesca laughter of Verlaine, his foolish friends
Irritated my nights of glands and gems
They did not understand that among them
I was the Olympic zeal of inconstancy

Aunque antes me creyeran loco
