–only: rustling of: shoots the daphne’s sprouting stalks, the:
buds redden
early in the year: calyces sprung – so feverish, it: bursts onto the fingers
– [ff] – quivering –
[fft] – feathery, pierced by light it: congeals to a bast-layer to
stone-fruit

knospen sind früh
im jahr rosig: gesprungene kelche – so fiebrig, das: birst an den fingern
– [ff] – zwittrig –
[tss] – fiedrig, durchschlungen vom licht das: zur bastschicht zur
steinfrucht gerinnt
