Poem

INVITATION
The houses are as big as they’re bigAnd me, the poorest of poor creatures
I have grasped distance for the first time
Twas like something you could see or feel
Up in the old eaves with the birds
I sit facing the wind and the rain
Tracing circle within circle
And into each one I write your name
The day has finished with its long song
Onto the snowy branches darkness has tipped
Ah there is no bearing loneliness at this hour
The seaweed gone mad in the sea, the fish in the stream
So come, now
ÇAĞRI
ÇAĞRI
Evler büyük dedikçe büyükBen insanların en garibi
Uzağı ilk defa kavradım
Görür yahut dokunur gibi
Eski bir saçakta kuşlarla
Yele yağmura karşı oturdum
İç içe daireler çiziyor
İçine adını yazıyorum
Gün uzun türküsünü bitirdi
Karlı dallara yürüdü karanlık
Yalnızlık çekilmez bu vakit
Delirdi denizde yosun çayda balık
Gel artık
