She no longer passed by the alleyThey didn't let her
He pulled the curtains
And gently took the window off the frame
Shouldered it down the stairs
And round the alleys and the streets
He was looking for a girl
Who no longer passed by the window

گشتِ پنجره در خیابان
گشتِ پنجره در خیابان
از کوچه دیگر نمی گذشت
نمی گذاشتند که بگذرد
پرده ها را کنار زد
پنجره را آرام از تن خانه درآورد
از پله ها برد پایین
و در کوچه‌ها و خیابان‌ها گرداند
دنبال دختری می‌گشت
