Poem

THE FLOWERING STONE
Let’s be attentive because a stone will flower
a song will flower and kings will demand an explanation
the journalists will journey to the site of the phenomenon
the believers will say it is a signal
the sceptics, a warning from the earth
the academic community will aspire to reveal a new kingdom
that children will draw in their notebooks
that they will look for in prairies
that they will hear in their dreams
the radio stations will biblically
spread the news in the towns
everywhere they will talk about the miracle
while the Vatican
the White House
and the Black Widow
will pretend to be the owners of the stone
Let’s save it!
the green parties will cry out
the blue dwarfs
the mad archeologists
but a stone will go on flowering
in the mystical deserts
in the orchards of the rivers
in the conversations of lovers
and in the desire of the other stones
