As He Who Says Goodbye Many Times

Destiny tied and untied
I say as a sort of consolation

I ask you
in which direction can a man go
with the horizon at his back?

From the last step
your humiliations and reproaches
show me the face of your sanctity

I do not pretend to move you to pity
raise your eyes
it is the last homage to your harshness

Look at me leaving like a goblin
with my feet pointing backwards

COMO QUIEN SE DESPIDE MUCHAS VECES

COMO QUIEN SE DESPIDE MUCHAS VECES

El destino ató y desató
me digo a manera de consuelo

Te pregunto
¿Hacia dónde puede ir un hombre
con el horizonte a sus espaldas?

Desde el último peldaño
tus humillaciones y reproches
me muestran su rostro de santidad

No pretendo conmoverte
levanta los ojos
es el último homenaje a tu dureza

Mírame partir como un duende
con los pies al revés
Close

As He Who Says Goodbye Many Times

Destiny tied and untied
I say as a sort of consolation

I ask you
in which direction can a man go
with the horizon at his back?

From the last step
your humiliations and reproaches
show me the face of your sanctity

I do not pretend to move you to pity
raise your eyes
it is the last homage to your harshness

Look at me leaving like a goblin
with my feet pointing backwards

As He Who Says Goodbye Many Times

Destiny tied and untied
I say as a sort of consolation

I ask you
in which direction can a man go
with the horizon at his back?

From the last step
your humiliations and reproaches
show me the face of your sanctity

I do not pretend to move you to pity
raise your eyes
it is the last homage to your harshness

Look at me leaving like a goblin
with my feet pointing backwards
