MAKE THEM BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE DAYDREAMING

Daydream and take the colour of this daydream.

Daydream if have they taken your beloved
from your house of love in a night
look not for any trace, any smell, which is hers.

Daydream if have they set ablaze your field,
your meadow in a desolate town
wait not for a single grass to be put out.

Daydream if in uncomparable wars it collapsed
your city, bridge, country
ask not whose is this merciless wish.

Daydream if have they killed your brother
in a street with a bullet or an injection
think not of the severity of the weather.

Daydream if your bones have been crushed
into pieces at a cross resembling a mill
wish not for a gentle one to care for you.

They will ask what you are doing
silent and smiling to yourself
move as a stone only then
make them believe that you are daydreaming.

İNANDIR ONLARI DÜŞ KURDUĞUNA

İNANDIR ONLARI DÜŞ KURDUĞUNA

Düş kur ve al bu düşün rengini.

Düş kur, sevgilini götürdüler mi
aşk evinizden bir gece
arama hiçbir iz, hiçbir koku onun olan.

Düş kur, tarlanı çayırını ateşe verdiler mi
bir ıssız kasabada,
bekleme söndürülmesini bir tek otun.

Düş kur, eşsiz savaşlarla yıkıldı mı
kentin, köprün, bucağın
sorma kimindir bu acımasız istek.

Düş kur, kardeşini öldürdüler mi
bir sokakta kurşunla ya da iğneyle,
düşünme havaların kötülüğünü.

Düş kur, kemiklerin un ufak ezildi mi
bir değirmene benzeyen çarmıhta
isteme kol kanat gersin bir iyi yürek.
Sorarlar sana ne yaptığını
suskun ve gülümseyerek kendi kendine,
bir taş gibi kımılda o zaman sadece,
inandır onları düş kurduğuna.
