Poem
Ali Abdolrezaei
Last Line
A forehead is bobbing up and down behind the windowand doesn't take his eyes off the girl returning home
The wind blows off a corner of her scarf
and wraps it round her shoulders
Look!
The bunch of flowers sticking out of her hand is pretty
can you see?
Mind she doesn't see you from this angle
She's spiraling up the staircase
can you hear it?
Up the stairs
One two three and ringinging!
Damn this stairway
if only it was longer
I wouldn't have had to spoil the last line of this poem
