The day
The day
The day
there was a boy became a manloved like a man with passion
then came the news the dreaded news
now slimming is the fashion
alone awake in bed at night
he weeps for a future gone
but all this is to no avail
for the virus has the battle won
a year has seen that fateful day
the girl is dead no longer ill
and all because of lust and love
the boy is getting thinner still
‘What’s with you?’ his friends ask
‘you must have a problem’
‘Oh it’s nothing’ he quickly says
and walks away from them
he died last night that lonely boy
in hell he knows the devil
so listen all you lovers well
love is sometimes evil
