On looking back
On looking back
On looking back
I stand on the charred stump of timeTo unravel the maze of my rusty footprints
All I see are deep furrows
Tearful furrows
Draining my once steel confidence
I see corpses of my ambitions
I see the ashes of a fire that once blazed in me
I see voracious termites gnawing at the roots of my future.
