Poem
Flavio Santi
Do you remember the hundred times
Do you remember the hundred timesthat I was all twisted for a
phone call of yours
around the receiver
like around a pier?
As if in front of a mirror
I talked without understanding, you know, that
to be eternal all you need
is a moment, to be with you
the most absurd rose.

Do you remember the hundred times
Ricordi le mille volte
che mi torcevo per una
tua telefonata attorno
la cornetta come
fosse un molo?
Come davanti a specchio
dicevo e non capivo, sai, che
a essere eterno ci vuole
un attimo, a essere con te
la rosa più assurda.
che mi torcevo per una
tua telefonata attorno
la cornetta come
fosse un molo?
Come davanti a specchio
dicevo e non capivo, sai, che
a essere eterno ci vuole
un attimo, a essere con te
la rosa più assurda.
