ESPETXEKO HAIKUAK/JAILHOUSE HAIKUS
11.My prisoner friends
hey! have tossed me in the air.
My very last day.
A real tough vigil.
They’ll actually set me free?
Anxiety squared.
They come to my cell.
Inside a black garbage bag
varied mementos.
Everything outside
is day-by-day daily life.
I’ll get used to it?

11.
Preso lagunek
aireratu naute, eup!
Azken eguna.
Gaubeila latza.
Librako naute benaz?
Ezinegona.
Badatoz bila.
Zabor poltsa barruan
oroitzapenak.
Kanpoan dena
egunerokotasun.
Usatuko naiz?

Gaubeila latza.
Librako naute benaz?
Ezinegona.
Badatoz bila.
Zabor poltsa barruan
