Domnica Drumea

hatred invades me slowly

***

hatred invades me slowly

like a room full of water

with the slowness of an inquisitor

the october sun cuts strips off me

I lay traps for myself

the satisfaction of skin well stitched

I’ve waited patiently

for the disaster to happen

and it happened

I am a crow with eyes gouged out

I peck at myself mercilessly

hatred invades me slowly

***

ura mă invadează încet

ca o cameră plină cu apă

cu lentoarea unui inchizitor

soarele de octombrie taie fâşii din mine

îmi întind singură capcane

satisfacţia pielii bine cusute

am aşteptat răbdătoare

ca dezastrul să se întâmple

şi s-a întâmplat

sunt un corb cu ochii scoşi

ciugulesc din mine fără milă

like a room full of water

with the slowness of an inquisitor

the october sun cuts strips off me

I lay traps for myself

the satisfaction of skin well stitched

I’ve waited patiently

for the disaster to happen

and it happened

I am a crow with eyes gouged out

I peck at myself mercilessly

hatred invades me slowly

the satisfaction of skin well stitched

I’ve waited patiently

for the disaster to happen

and it happened

I am a crow with eyes gouged out

I peck at myself mercilessly
