Poem
Thomas Kling
history painting
landscape with patches.a landscape with patches of cherry. a self
propagating landscape with ranges of hills.
one in which a royal alcoholic has his
personal chef stuck on the roasting-spit.
one where Hussites perish.
a Bohemian one in which Calixtids (“?”)
and Taborites (“??”) cut each other to bits.
landscape with patches of cherry.
one where stags trees and wasps
fall over. over which chains go under a gna-
shing moon. one in which a reich
protector dies of tatters of fabric in his
spleen. Patches. and, patches, one over
which chains go under gnashing moon. and
a landscape in which it will prosper again.
