    TIMES ARE HARD MAN

    times are hard man the hardest
    so perhaps you’ll come
    just for me
    without a donkey without Jerusalem
    defiled with leprosy
    just to me
    tonight

    In Jewish tradition, the Messiah is expected to enter Jerusalem on a donkey. According to Christian tradition, Jesus did enter the city on a donkey.
