Poem
Yukio Tsuji
America
I had a dream in whichraising my raincoat collar
in a downpour
I had set off for America
with a cat, a parrot
and Booglie Wooglie the pig.
I sneezed.
When I woke up
a cat,
a parrot,
Booglie Wooglie
and a dripping umbrella
were inside the front door,
and all at once I felt exhausted.
