Poem
Mohamed Boudouik
Fragment taken from ‘Al-Buhturi’s wolf’
A woman in the eye of the rhinocerosOn a forsaken boat
Picking up her second half
that fell.
A broken seagull awaiting her,
Rubbing itself on the bows
Which are eaten away by the salt of time!
A boat whirling around
In the thick fog
An army of waves
Washing its tattered sleeves
And the lazy autumn wind
Yawning over its planks.
