CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT
Email sent to former loverfound frogspawn
waited.
The elder’s in bloom – we used to make cordial from it
I thought human seed smelled the same – somewhere something
is rotting, I don’t get a reply but that’s maybe
because he’s a young dad, the ditch
is alive, it’s feeding time, I
am ready
plant heat-resistant water plants, look there
in the dark is a ball of heaped-up
silted-up, blunt clumps of new being
promising bubble wrap
lens formation around lens formation – cartoon eyes
stare at me, shifty and viscous
it is quiet, maybe he’s taking his daughter to her piano lesson
fertilization must be made worthwhile at the end
of the day
the unripe green berries hairbrush studs
herons move nomadically along the waterside
spawn becomes zygote becomes larva
the things that decayed come to life
the things that waited are now killed.
ONTVANGSTBEVESTIGING
ONTVANGSTBEVESTIGING
Mail gestuurd aan oude liefdekikkerdril gevonden
afgewacht.
sta klaar
plant zonwerende waterplanten, kijk daar
dichtgeslibde, afgestompte klompen nieuw bestaan
beloftevol bubbeltjesplastic
