Birds at the window once

Birds at the window once –
now, butterflies with brittle wings,
noiseless, their fleeting bodies nearly gone.
The time has come the time for moving on

Vroeger vogels bij het raam
nu vliederdunne vlinders
zonder gerucht en van materie haast ontdaan.
