Principle of Original Horizontality
We slide the tablecloth away from us, pushing up mountain ridgesbetween us, wrinkled rockface
canceled out by repeating fractures.
Silence seems easy
though it’s not
an act of solidarity
but the truth
is an empty set.
Hell is ourselves.
You drag your torso up the mountain like a donkey
loaded down with jugs of water. Behold the mirage
of the change agenda. What’s spilled
encodes as it dries.

We duwen het tafelkleed van ons af zodat er bergkammen ontstaan.Tussen ons in ligt gerimpeld gesteente
dat aan repeterende breuken kapotgaat.
Zwijgen lijkt gemakkelijk
ten onrechte
solidair
maar de waarheid
is een lege verzameling.
De hel dat zijn we zelf.
Je torst je torso de berg op als een ezel
een zware kruik water. Ziehier de fata morgana
van de veranderagenda. Het morsen
een opdrogende code.
