Blue Dream
“So you see”, said Gottfried Benn,in a deep, indelible voice: “one does not
need to be a doctor to notice the traces
the departing soul gently leaves in the body.”
Yes this was a dream, but seeing as it was
dreamt in the middle of another dream, perhaps
it was reality itself. Other than the two of us
there was no one else reflected in the blue-lit
frosted mirror of the morgue. Save, of course,
my body, stretched out, rigid on the stone slab.
Mavi Düş
Mavi Düş
'Görüyorsunuz ya' demişti Gottfried Benn, kalın, unutulmaz bir sesle: 'hekim olmak
gerekmiyor, çekip giden canın gövdede
usulcana bıraktığı izleri fark etmek için';
Evet düştü bu, ama bir başka düşün
ortasında kurulduğuna göre, belki de
gerçeğin ta kendisiydi. ikimizden başka
kimse yoktu morgun mavi ışıklı buzul
aynasına yansıyan. bir de tabii: taş
sekinin üzerine yatırılmış kaskatı gövdem.
