Three in the morning I dreamt I caught a mouse
like an airplane going to an underwater parade
A sheet of white paper turning black while falling
a group of blind men keeping up their struggle
Like all those winters without snow
I returned to the origin
I hurried brandishing
a fan trying to catch up to its breeze

drie uur ’s nachts droom ik dat ik muizen vangals een vliegtuig dat onder water vliegt
een vel wit papier wordt in de val zwart
een groep blinden blijft vechten
net als op alle winterdagen zonder sneeuw
keer ik terug naar af
ik dring aan en wapper
met een waaier de wind weg
