PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ABSENTEE

The latest news has finally reached me too
I can hear you jump to my first place &

I am answered, while already embraced by your
name on my lips, by your jingle

in the jungle of the almost crippling urge
I saved for days for the Saturday night

flirt with your black lacquered beauty the same as old cake the week
breaks because who have I been before your intro heals

to not need to helplessly hang around
the corridor of torture now enflamed my manhood

rages through my as yet wholly
unborn member on my march from the camp

to the altar of your knell in front of which
I wordlessly assemble &

once there don’t let me only learn
the rank & stature but above all

how the soil-pipe smell in the oil around the cream
across the voice with which you run me through &

a thousand thanks to you for this, stone-deaf, entirely
averted from me right into the balls of my ears

rolled up idol

woordloos samenschool &

laat me daar niet alleen

opgerold idool
