Poem

Those Were The Days (6)
6.I remember
how nice it was in Pula
in Valsaline Bay
in our room with six beds
an extraordinary summer
our first spent together
we absorbed everything around us
playing chess
making friends with the staff
and one little girl
the daughter of a waiter and waitress
she described to us
what we have seen
that is Jackson
even during summer he is wearing a coat
there are some strange people in Villa Idola
in our white T-shirts
we were sitting on the terrace
watching the baptism
the girl said
that she had never seen
a bicycle at a baptism
we were visiting monuments habitually
taking pictures beside them

To su bili dani (6)
To su bili dani (6)
6.sjetio sam se
kako nam je bilo lijepo u puli
u uvali valsaline
u našoj sobi sa šest kreveta
izvanredno ljeto
naše prvo zajedničko
upijali smo sve oko sebe
igrali smo šah
sprijateljili se sa osobljem
i jednom malom
kćerkom konobara i konobarice
ona nam je opisivala
ono što vidimo
to je jackson
on nosi kaput i usred ljeta
u villi idola su čudni ljudi
sjedili smo na terasi
i gledali krštenje u
bijelim majicama
djevojčica je rekla
da nikad nije vidjela
bicikl na krštenju
rutinski smo obilazili spomenike
i slikali se pored njih
