THE PERPETUAL FEAST

My history is full of hisses and tangles,
of voices and events, of bloody questions
of narrated seasons for an inventory
of scars and echoes. 

My history is a house that ages
with its rooms intact. My history
is a body dwelling among stupors
and a mouth setting fire to words
when it drinks love. My history must be
a banquet,
a perpetual feast
which magic and disturbance cohabit.

Mi historia está llena de silbidos y dédalos,
de voces y de veces, de jodidas preguntas,
de estaciones narradas para un inventario
de cicatrices y de resonancias.

Mi historia es una casa que envejece
con sus recintos intactos. Mi historia
es un cuerpo que habita entre estupores
y una boca que incendia las palabras
cuando bebe el amor. Mi historia debe ser
un banquete,
una fiesta perpetua
donde conviven el duende y el disturbio.
