Myrte Leffring
Myrte Leffring (1973) is a poet, literary teacher and editor-in-chief of poetry magazine Awater. Since her debut Om je schouders hang ik de nachten (2015) and De tere bloemen van het verstand (2016), she has built up a versatile oeuvre. In 2022, her diptych Wulk was published - which consists of a novel (Vallen) and a collection of poems (Opstaan) that together tell one story. She is active as a poetry teacher and performs regularly, including with Dichter aan devleugel, a musical-poetic program. Leffring combines language with music and performance, and in her work explores the interfaces between poetry and other art forms.
