Maxime Garcia Diaz (1993) is a poet. Her debut collection It's Warm in the Hivemind (2021) was awarded the C. Buddingh' Prize for the best poetry debut of the year. Earlier, she won the National Poetry Slam (2019). She is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
