Christian Formoso (1971) is a poet. He has a PhD in Spanish languages, literature, and culture from Stony Brook University and is a member of the Chilean Academy of Language representing Magallanes. He is a professor at the University of Magallanes. His main poetry collections are WWM - Walt Whitman Mall - (2020), bellezamericana (2014), and El cementerio más hermoso de Chile (2009), which was awarded the National Book Prize.
