WATCHING THE FUNERAL THRU A CRACKED WALL
WATCHING THE FUNERAL THRU A CRACKED WALL
WATCHING THE FUNERAL THRU A CRACKED WALL
The afternoon is wreathed in black sunlightThe page's dirge flutter like wings in a tomb
and then
back to reality
VIOLENCE!
Township aphrodisiac
A tear's mathematics
over Joyce's dingam
poor paddy
someone's daddy
Over shoulders of electric pylons
death's owl hoots in fear
and from the rear,
that was the doves drop
O
Spirit
a willow on the shiver.
