Variations on a text to be read, sung, watched and told
1Knotting-together of a text to be read
Shred the phrase: “solitary ceremony in the company of your body”
Shred the word: company
Shred the word: company
Take this rectangle of printed paper
Spread this rectangle, Maestro
And bury it at the feet
of a pair of scales ablaze
2
Knotting-together of a text to be sung
Shred the phrase: “businessmen don’t breathe”
Blow away the reading of the rectangle “business” (greet your concert!)
Someone says: “multiplied passenger of the winds
Beats in his own company”
Passing businessmen: flags are no longer
wooden chairs or Rectangles of rags. Quite the contrary, the situation is this:
words and figures don’t breathe (oh, labyrinth!)
because they’ve gone crazy
3
Knotting-together of a text to be watched
It may be / that God is a blue sphere
And that the (blue) ink
In the nocturnal light of an infinite pyramid
May be yellow, sky blue, yellow, yellow, orange, white, or the other way around
Light and transparency, milk
knotted together with surface flags: not to be read, not to be
sung, not to be told, but to watch milk definitively in the moonlight
4
Outcome to be told by reading
Shred the rectangles:
- The earth is round in 1948
- The apple, red in 1963
- The wind, blows in 1969
- The bird, yellow in 1970
- The body, secret in 1966
- The shadows, possible in 1980
A red apple on the green grass, only possible
The contemporaneity of Vallejo, possible
The passion according to Sologuren, possible
Poems to be read standing up on the bus between the Flaminian Gate and the Tritone Hotel, possible
Poems to be immediately destroyed on poetry, childhood, and other metamorphoses, possible
Blasphemous elegies for hungry residents of San Pedro, possible
Black businessmen, objects and people on white buses, pulsing genitals (great melancholy labyrinths), various things in life, mutilated hideous neon life, all up and down Peru, possible
—but only by day
The first Fernando de Szyslo exhibition, contemporary painting, Paris, October 1968, Paris, January 1969, the infinite landscape of the Peruvian coast, possible
—but in the shape of a bird
This paper rectangle in the summer, this paper rectangle in the autumn, this paper rectangle in the winter, possible
—but in the shape of a theater
The ink in link, the tic in plastic, the do in Kingdoms, the so in torso, the pro in impromptu, the almost-my in pyramid of rags, Milan, the company of myself, the un in a universe above the sky-blue vertical, possible, possible, possible news of motionless delight
- The earth is round in 1948
- The earth is round in 1987
- The earth is round in 1993
- The apple is red in 1962, 1969, 1985, and 1990
Help me, O labyrinth
Blue-inked sky, queens of ash ruined Inventory
to be sung
to be read, to be watched, to be told
Final act (but as an entrance, Jorge)
today, tomorrow, always

Geel is, lichtblauw, geel, geel, oranje, wit of andersom
4
Help me, o labyrint
