Wednesday’s Ship of Pearls
When autumn enters the constant hourI begin to crush and grind
out the recipe for knowledge
not bitter enough, I think
these viscous memories chewed once
in a while should suffice
my silences I have to
swallow a fishbone, soundless
I have to stomach
that bit of rusted iron
I think it best this life
be spent on web-spinning
drawing endless radians on a bridge
so as to form that geometry
called fortune
on a Wednesday, I will see
a ship arrive, brimful of pearls
星期三的珍珠船
星期三的珍珠船
当秋天进入恒定的时序我就开始敲敲打打
着手研磨智慧的药剂
苦得还不够,我想
只是偶尔反刍那些黏稠的记忆
就足以沉默
要一声不出地吞下鱼骨
要消化那块锈蚀的铁
我想着这一生
最好只在一座桥上结网
不停地画线
再指挥它们构建命运的几何
我必定会在某一个星期三
等到一艘装满珍珠的船来
