Poem
Gro Dahle
Linnea lies ill beneath the tree
Linnea lies ill beneath the tree‒ Oi oi oi, the tree whispers
And the tree lets its leaves fall
The large tree the kind tree
And the tree lifts the sky with its arms
so it shouldn’t push down
too heavily on her chest
And the tree folds the night aside
so she shouldn’t be afraid

Linnea lies ill beneath the tree
Linnea ligger syk under treet
‒ Oj oj oj, hvisker treet
Og treet lar sine blader falle
Det store treet, det snille treet
Og treet løfter himmelen med armene sine
så den ikke skal trykke henne
for tungt på brystet
Og treet bretter natten til side
så hun ikke skal bli redd
‒ Oj oj oj, hvisker treet
Og treet lar sine blader falle
Det store treet, det snille treet
Og treet løfter himmelen med armene sine
så den ikke skal trykke henne
for tungt på brystet
Og treet bretter natten til side
så hun ikke skal bli redd
