Tibouchina Purple
The Tibouchina
Blossomed
In purple Lenten
Splendour in
Christmastide,
Adorned in passionate
Mourning grandeur,
Foreboding
Imminent
Sorrow.
Then
After January
Twenty-six,
Ere the Passiontide,
One by one
The purple petals
Wilted
And
Gently floated
To the ground:
There
Ever to rest
In communion with
Life past and future:
A silent
Farewell
To a Loved one.
Beloved
Ellen Marie
Rest in peace.
Blossomed
In purple Lenten
Splendour in
Christmastide,
Adorned in passionate
Mourning grandeur,
Foreboding
Imminent
Sorrow.
Then
After January
Twenty-six,
Ere the Passiontide,
One by one
The purple petals
Wilted
And
Gently floated
To the ground:
There
Ever to rest
In communion with
Life past and future:
A silent
Farewell
To a Loved one.
Beloved
Ellen Marie
Rest in peace.
