Poem
Zali Gurevitch
JERUSALEM BLUES
Got a home and a blanketAnd I got shoes
I’m in Jerusalem
Singing the blues
I cannot get her
But she don’t care
’cause I’m in her shoes
and she’s in my hair
She ain’t my mom
And she ain’t my wife
She’s distant, she’s strange
But we have a life
Under my blanket
Inside my shoes,
She’s deep inside me
Singing the blues
