Poem
Mehrdad Arefani
Apple
Friends don’t hear the futurethey are of the belief
that one should live sweet and sour
A broken barrow and a lantern
take leave of the Friday market
A flowery serving dish and a few saucers
the new year breaks and
a knife peels the future
