Poem
George Mario Angel Quintero
VISTA
The tree’s pale lonelinessagainst the sky’s blue.
Apart, in this sea
of surfaceless deep heights.
Stuck to the word with glue
it rises, still tower, distinct
from this lack of clouds.
Skirt of seeing you remains.

VISTA
VISTA
La soledad pálida del árbolcontra el azul del cielo.
Aislado en ese mar
de alturas hondas sin superficie.
Pegada con goma a la palabra
sube, torre quieta, separada
de esta falta de nubes.
Falda de verte queda.
