LOVE
After all, life could be lost at any momentSo why ask after the umbrella or the shoes
Forgotten on the bus.
Fear of the dawn
When from inside us
The new voice issues out
Waking nights
Without you
Dangerous
As a fatherless child
Or the blind man
In a two-person dialogue
Then why exile oneself
Because of hair loss
Or the loss of some tooth
The streetwise friend
A guide
For absences
And in the nights of darkness
You’ll travel better if you’re alone
Judgment is a forgiving smile
In case the flies
Say something it’s better to count them
And to think that we the dead
Count as much
As your dreams.

EL AMOR
EL AMOR
Después de todo, la vida se podía perder en cualquier momentoEntonces por qué preguntar por el paraguas o por los zapatos
Olvidados en el bus.
El miedo al amanecer
Cuando de nuestro interior
Sale la voz nueva
Las noches de vigilia
Sin ti
Peligrosas
Como el niño sin padre
O el ciego
En un diálogo de dos
Entonces por qué exiliarse
Por la pérdida del pelo
O algún diente
El amigo callejero
Un guía
Para las ausencias
Y en las noches de tinieblas
Viajarás mejor si estás solo
El juicio es una sonrisa de perdón
Por si las moscas
Dicen algo es mejor contarlas
Y pensar que los muertos
Contamos tanto
Como tus sueños.
