The prize for the first volume of poetry awarded to the young Moroccan poet Kamal akhlaki

The prize for the first volume of poetry is awarded to the young Moroccan poet Kamal Akhlaki for his book More than a Mountain.
The prize which amounts to 10.000 dh, was handed to the young poet during a ceremony organized in Casablanca by the house of poetry in Morocco, and that on Friday, March 21, 2003 which coincides the celebration of the poetry world day.

The Prize jury consisted of Allal al hajam as chairman, Mohammed bennis, Khalid belkacem, and Hassan el ouazzani.

Kamal akhalaki, born in 1970 in Safi, wrote his first poems in 1987. He is currently the headmaster of a private school for computer processing in Safi.
