StAnza Festival, held in the historical town of St. Andrews in Scotland, is one of the leading poetry festivals in the UK. Each year StAnza brings together a range of major poets from across the UK and the rest of the world. This year the festival focuses especially on poetry from The Netherlands and Flanders. A bunch of Dutch, Frisian and Flemish poets make their way over to Scotland this week to perform their poetry on StAnza’s stages.
As one of the main partners for this ‘Dutch focus’ Poetry International has created an audio installation with recordings from the festival archive of readings by leading Dutch, Flemish and Frisian poets (both contemporary poets and poets from the past).StAnza will be live streaming many of the events, including ones in which some of the invited Dutch or Flemish poets take part.
