Poetry Week 2023, from 26 January to 1 February, celebrates the theme 'friendship': the friendship with neighbours down the street or pen pals far away, the friendship of long ago or the one of late on that sunny terrace. Friends support, laugh, listen, experience, inspire. The writers of this year's gift collection - the Dutch Hester Knibbe and the Flemish Miriam Van hee - also maintain a long-standing literary friendship across borders and have been 'besties' in real life for years too.
