You have to change to stay the same

Poetry lives! That is what we felt, heard and read last edition of the Poetry International Festival Rotterdam. More than 20 poets from all over the world entered our stages in Lantarenvenster and Verhalenhuis Belvedere.

Poetry International is changing! Both in organisation and in the voices we present. Polyphony in today's poetry, that is what we showed last festival. You have to change to stay the same. That is how it is. We have included the poems recited by the festival poets in our digital archive, and are now available to everyone. I have made a selection. A summery poetry tour along my festival highlights.

With this Archive Tour I am leaving as temporary tambour-maître of Poetry International. I will hand over the baton to Diana Chin-A-Fat from September.
