In 2020, she suddenly disappeared from view; in Dutch Vogue she spoke openly the about the mental and physical exploitation due to success and she put a point behind her career. Fortunately, the good feeling returned when in 2022 it turned out that music made her happy after all. Since early 2022, the urge to record songs returned, and without a plan, she dove into the studio. "There, for the first time, I felt happy again. Butterflies in my stomach; a physical reaction." The first song she wrote was the successful comeback single "Sad Violins," which she is sure to perform this evening.
