Biografie
Bernice Chauly is schrijver, dichter en onderwijzer. Al meer dan 20 jaar is zij werkzaam in de culturele sector, als schrijver, docent, fotograaf, actrice, filmmaker en programmamaker. Zij werd meerdere malen bekroond voor haar bijdrage aan de Maleisische kunst en cultuur.
Chauly schreef vijf boeken, going there and coming back (1997), The Book of Sins (2008), Lost in KL (2008), Growing Up With Ghosts (2011) – bekroond met de Readers’ Choice Awards – en Onkalo (2013).
