THE AGE OF FALSE PRESENCE

THE AGE OF FALSE PRESENCE

THE AGE OF FALSE PRESENCE

Even at skyping distance
your face remains familiar,
your gaze seemingly focused.
Our conversations are filled
with woven traces of history.

Yet the screen frames an illusion
of proximity and presence,
seductions of shadow and light.
A false immediacy that teases
but in it nothing cannot flourish.
