Boxes piled against a sky.Fragile. Do not touch. This side
up. Handle with care (that is, great care).
Pyramids of cardboard/wooden
prisms, a conflict of corners, arguments
of straightness, protractors by the dozen. Jagged cliffs
and mountain sides, a mass without
cohesion, parts without a whole. Yet open
there just one and see the face that they have set apart:
peering not beyond the cubeness,
but safe, taped and stapled shut, lest some-
one dare (or care) to ask what they are doing in the dark.
