FOREST

I write forest and the forest comes to being
I go I must go to the forest to fetch wood
it is time to get warm

I am afraid
that is why I sing

I sing forest and there is no forest – here I am
how proud I am how powerful I am
    woodiness is all mine
I want to be humble I want to tumble
            rush headlong
            into the forest
wooden birds drop into my ear – because they are leaves
the forest has hands full of fear
the forest has a beast’s rounded eyes
    short-winded
    they strike
    a fire

what was it – my stumbling step
what was it – uprightness naked

I write forest and there is no forest
clearness of the eye
stiff

SUMA

SUMA

napisem suma I bude suma
idem moram u sumu po drva
vrijeme je za toplije

mene je strah
zato pjevam

pjevam suma i nije suma – ja sam
kako sam ponizna kako sam mocna
    stablasta je najmojija
hocu se srusiti hocu se skrusiti
        skroz
        u sumu
ptice od drva u uho mi padaju – i lisce su
pa suma ima pune ruke straha
pa suma ima kruzne oci zvjeri
    i daha udvojena
    oganj
    ukresu

sto je ono bilo – korak mi spotaknut
sto je ono bilo – naga je uspravnost

napisem suma i nije suma
bistroca je oka
ukocena
