SOUNDS

Softly things turn around.
At this, “Who is it?”, a word asks
and, having raised both hands,
runs away into near darkness.

In that instant
the world of both of us becomes blurred.
We touch heart to heart
and, saying unawares,
“What shall we do?”,
timidly laugh.
