Poetry Week 2023 is dedicated to the theme of Friendship; as writers of the Poetry Gift, poets Hester Knibbe and Miriam Van hee are together the figureheads of Poetry Week. The Dutch and Flemish poet nurture a long-standing friendship across borders. In this podcast, they talk to Jan Baeke about their friendship and about writing the Poetry Gift 2023 together.

On their way to the 52nd Poetry International Festival, programmers Jan Baeke, Fleur Jeras and Dean Bowen sit at the big conference table visualizing their festival plans. On themes, programs and poets of the 52nd Poetry International Festival, from 10 - 12 June 2022 in LantarenVenster and Verhalenhuis Belvédère on Rotterdam's Kop van Zuid and Katendrecht. 

In this third episode Dean Bowen introduces the collaboration with the Rotterdam dance group Amenti who will give a performance together with festival poets Ricardo Domeneck and Safia Elhillo. En passant you'll hear more about these and other poets, but especially about Sasja Janssen, who you can especially go and see on the festival Sunday.
