Poem
Eduardo Cote Lamus
YOU
Your word falls into loneliness like an olive branchinto peace. I did not know
that your voice would arrive with stars.
You are my war cry
against death.
Now a tree grows where oblivion
closes its eyes.
You.

TU
TU
Cae tu palabra en la soledad como ramo de olivoen la paz. Yo no sabía
que tu voz llegara con estrellas.
Eres mi grito de combate
contra la muerte.
Ahora un árbol crece donde el olvido
cierra los ojos.
Tú.
