The new Italian poet of the quarter, Gian Mario Villalta, is one of the emerging writers and intellectuals on the Italian literary scene, where he is considered one of the most authoritative voices of the last few years.
A steady creative and critical resource for the rapidly changing Italian cultural society, Villalta is active as both a poet and a cultural operator in a wider sense.
